Support

We charge absolutely nothing to the Balinese students so the entire program is supported by the generosity of educators, individuals, local villas, and travelers to Bali.  Since the Directors of the Agung Bali Children’s Foundation are also salaried professors, they receive no compensation from the Foundation.  This way, every dollar donated goes directly towards classroom instruction in Bali, classroom supplies and office supplies.

Donating

We rely on donations to run the program so we’d love to have your support by making a contribution via our PayPal account.

Funding the program requires the generosity of many, and getting the word out is key to our continued ability to do this very necessary work.  Our costs break down as follows:

$10 is needed to support 5 students for a month.

$25 is needed to support a dozen students for a month or one student for an entire year.

$150 is needed to support one entire school for a month.

$300 is needed to support one of our three villages (2 schools) for a month.

Donations will be used to pay classroom salaries in Bali and instructional supplies.  We are a US 501(c)3 non-profit organization so your donations may be tax-deductible per the IRS.

Volunteering

In order for the students to hear native English-speakers on a regular basis, we are always looking for English-speaking volunteers to stop by and assist in the classroom for durations ranging from a single day to several weeks.  A Balinese teacher will always be present in the classroom with the volunteer.  We are always happy to have volunteers bring simple classroom supplies (pens, pencils, crayons) if possible.

Anyone planning to be in, or willing to travel to Bali to volunteer can contact our volunteer coordinator, Janne Millar, via email at
